Our guest house is in the quiet town of Tayport, which boasts a picturesque harbour and some good pubs.

Being only ten minutes drive away from the famous Old Course in St Andrews, we are an ideal choice for golfers. Tayport has it's own established golf course, Scotscraig, and there are numerous courses in Fife, and Dundee, Carnoustie etc.

The new purpose built golf complex, Drumoig is 3 miles from Tayport, with state of the art facilities including a practice range.

Tentsmuir forest and Kinshaldy beach are also close at hand with memorable walks along five miles of unspoiled sands and numerous forest trails. There are local nature reserves where there is an abundance of birdlife, wild flowers, butterflies and coastal wildlife including dolphins, porpoise and large seal colonies where seals can often be spotted basking in the sandbanks. There are also the riding stables in the forest.

Tayport is situated on the coast at the north east corner of Fife and heads the exceptional string of coastal villages of the East Neuk of Fife, Crail, Pitenweem, and Anstruther which lie to the south.

We are ideally located for touring Fife and the Angus glens which offer stunning nature walks, hill walking and climbing. Arrangements can be made to transport guests to the glens and for guided walks.

St. Andrews and Dundee are only 10 minutes drive away. In addition, Edinburgh, Perth and Stirling can easily be visited on a day trip.
